Venue details
Bewerley Park Centre is one of the North Yorkshire County Council owned and operated Outdoor Education Centres. It provides residential multi-activity outdoor education courses mainly for school pupils of North Yorkshire, but also provides a wide range of adult courses and outdoor based National Governing Body Award qualifications.
Bewerley Park Centre provides an excellent base from which to operate OTC courses. Situated in one of the most southerly of the Yorkshire Dales, Nidderdale, Bewerley provides great daleside trail level and technical mountain biking for the riding aspects of courses.
In terms of teaching areas, Bewerley has a wide range of classroom facilities enabling the emphasis on practical application throughout the course, and as a large centre, supports the course with excellent maintenance, bike storage and relaxing areas.
Multi day courses at Bewerley are all residential, with food provided, additional facilities include efficient drying rooms, and a swimming pool, all within the costs of the course.
There are likely to be other people using the centre whilst the course is being operated. Please ensure that you do not impact on their activities and stay at the venue.
Food and Accommodation
Multi day courses at Bewerley Park are all residential, which means that included within the costs of the course is shared room accommodation at Bewerley on the two nights of the course, and food from the first day evening meal to the third day lunch. Bewerley are unable to offer a non-residential option for these courses, even where you choose not to stay at the venue.
Single day courses at Bewerley don't include accommodation with their cost, but we are usually able to offer an additional 24 hour residential cost which includes the evening meal for the night prior to the course, overnight shared room accommodation, breakfast and lunch.
